Cal is a lifetime Clark County resident; Patty since our marriage in 1968. We know & love SW Washington.
Patty specializes in property marketing & qualified as a Previews agent. She carries GRI and ABR designations.
Cal's special expertise is soils & land use. He has helped owners in Clark & surrounding counties to perc & develop their property. He has served on committees to guide county growth, soil conversation & water quality.
Cal is a professional engineer. He holds 2 degrees from WSU. When WSU sought a site for their Vancouver branch, the public was asked for input. As a private individual Cal nominated & campaigned for the present WSU Vancouver campus in the Salmon Creek area. As a WSU Pullman & Vancouver graduate, he had personal experience of the necessity for a centralized building site. His nomination was chosen by the regents. The beautiful campus is the direct result of Cal's commitment to WSU & wise land use.
We have been married 40 years and have been blessed with 6 children. Our extended family now numbers 33 with 3 spouses for our children & 22 grandkids! Our hearts yet ache as we lost a 16 month old grandson in 2003 to drowning. We miss him greatly. It is our greatest joy being parents & grandparents.
Cal speaks some of the Finnish language. We are both of Scandinavian heritage. We have enjoyed clients of many backgrounds and feel enriched by the experience.
